This Privacy Policy explains how ExcelSteel collects, uses, stores and protects information provided through our website, Meta/Facebook forms, email and other business communication channels.
1. Who we are
Superior Steel Structure Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., operating under the ExcelSteel brand, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Registered address: Room 108, Dormitory Building C, Shangxing Western Industrial Park, No. 1001-1 Xihuan Road, Dawangshan Community, Shajing Subdistrict, Bao'an District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. 2. Information we collect and collection channels
We collect business enquiry information that you voluntarily provide through our website, Meta/Facebook lead forms, email or agreed human follow-up. This may include your name, company, job title, country or region, business email, telephone number, project type, purchasing requirements, submission time, source channel and necessary communication history. We do not ask for government identification, bank account, health, religion, biometric or other sensitive information. Our enquiry channels are not intended for children.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
We use information to review and respond to enquiries, understand project and procurement requirements, assess whether our steel detailing, fabrication, related supply and export-delivery services may be suitable, arrange human follow-up, prevent duplicate records, protect system security and comply with legal obligations. Depending on applicable law, processing is based on consent, steps requested before a possible contract, legitimate interests in handling a genuine business-to-business enquiry where permitted, or compliance with law. We will provide additional notice and obtain consent where required before using information for a materially different purpose.
4. Manual review and automated processing
Meta/Facebook leads enter a manual review queue in SteelFlow. They do not automatically create a customer relationship, send an email or message, issue a quotation, or make a decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Test leads are clearly marked and are not treated as real customers.
5. Disclosure, sale, advertising and service providers
We do not sell personal information, use enquiry data for cross-context behavioural advertising, create advertising audiences from enquiry records, or disclose leads to unrelated parties. Limited information may be processed by Meta, website hosting, email, data hosting and customer-record service providers only as reasonably necessary to provide those services and subject to appropriate safeguards. Meta/Facebook and other platforms also process information under their own privacy policies. We may disclose information where required by law.
6. Retention and deletion
Test leads are deleted within 30 days after verification. Ordinary enquiries that do not develop into active business are retained for up to 24 months after the last substantive interaction. Records connected with quotations, projects or contracts are retained only for applicable legal, tax, accounting, contractual or dispute-resolution periods. When retention is no longer necessary, information is deleted, anonymised or securely overwritten through the applicable backup cycle. A valid deletion request may be completed earlier unless retention is required by law.
7. International processing
ExcelSteel is based in China. Information from overseas enquiries may be processed in China and by service providers operating in other jurisdictions. We use access controls, limited permissions and appropriate contractual or other safeguards. Where applicable law requires separate consent or another transfer mechanism, it will be completed before the relevant transfer.
8. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may request confirmation, access, correction, deletion, anonymisation, restriction, objection to direct marketing or certain processing, withdrawal of consent, information about recipients, and data portability where available. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Send requests to sales@excelsteelglobal.com. We may verify your identity without collecting unnecessary information. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully completed before withdrawal.
9. Security incidents and policy updates
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. If a security incident is likely to create a legally defined risk, we will assess it and notify affected individuals and regulators as required by applicable law. We may update this policy when our services, systems or legal obligations change, and will publish the latest version on this page.
